Office of the Controller of Examinations
Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), established in the year 1963 by Sree Siddaganga Education Society, is now affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. SIT has received the status of academic autonomy during the academic year 2007–2008. This facilitates SIT to frame its own syllabus for all the programmes and devise an appropriate assessment mechanism.
The Examination section of SIT has been restructured to carry out all the examination activities and named as Office of the Controller of Examinations (CoE) in the academic year 2007–2008.
What CoE Does
- Conducts and oversees all Academic examinations
- Publishes results and maintains academic records
- Manages test and examination timetables and graduation records
- Ensures examination integrity and fairness
