At SIT, Sports is an integral part of the all-round development of the students’ personality, and achieving excellence in Sports is looked as a great way of boosting the morale and all round development of positive attitude. SIT is keen to implement programs to promote excellence in sports. At the forefront of the efforts, the Sports Department has several facilities. Through its various sporting events, SIT supports and nurtures the talent of youths; providing them with requisite infrastructure, equipment, coaching facilities and competition exposure.

VISION
To enhance the skills and values in students that foster teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership talents to strive for excellence in the competitive environment and for the holistic growth of students.

MISSION
  • To provide and maintains excellent sports facilities and arrange coaching programmes to support students in the participation of competitions and achieve success.
  • To develop healthy bodies, fitness and skills in students and to give them the opportunity to represent the institute and bring laurels.
  • To motivate the students for collaboration, professionalism and achievements.
