Industry relevant professional certification courses

SIT continuously explore the possibilities of upskilling our students for industry readiness in various technologies. Accordingly, we partner with various corporates in identifying the technology trends, skills required to make the students industry ready and offering professional certification courses as an add on for upskilling students, based on their interest. SIT, through its partnership with Edu Skills, offers certification courses for all our students to learn industry relevant courses and to obtain the proficiency certification from industry recognized professional bodies.

The certification is open to all our students and will assist them to parallelly build their profile and competencies to enhance their employability quotient.

Eduskills in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy (Netacad) is offering the following professional certification courses to our students. The courses offered are of two variants.

    Self-learning professional certification courses

  • Students can avail these courses by registering through the respective branch coordinators.
  • Create your profile on the learning platform.
  • The courses are of self-learning and students learn the courses on their own.
  • Post completion of learning register for online exam.
  • Successful completion of online exam leads to earning of proficiency certification for that particular course.

    Instructor guided professional certification courses

  • Students can avail these courses by registering through the respective branch coordinators.
  • Create your profile on the learning platform.
  • The courses are of the combination self-learning and instructor driven teaching.
  • Post completion of learning register for online exam.
  • Successful completion of online exam leads to earning of proficiency certification for that particular course.

Students of 5th semester from all branches and 3rd semester MCA
Online registration Opens October 1st 2020
Online registration closes 10th Oct 2020
Learning period Self-learning access openes for all registered students from 12th of October 2020.
Course Commencement date October 12th 20202
Course end date December 31st 2020
On-line examination To be scheduled by the students on the CISCO new academy learning platform
Date of exam Any time between November and December 2020. To be decided by the students based on their learning progress
Last date for completion of exams On or before December 31st, 2020
